How to Activate Mercedes Side Mirrors Lowering at Parking Function?

This article is going to show you a hidden function on Mercedes W211/ W204/ W164/ W203 - activate lowering side mirrors when parking so that you can see pavement clearly.

Let's connect vehicle to VXDIAG Benz and activate it through DAS. (of course you can select other tools like SD C4, Super MB PRO, even Openport Tactrix)


1.Coding
Go to
Control units>>information and communication>>KI-instrument cluster>>Diagnosis at the direction of the factory>>Units coding control>> Variant Coding Factory Settings Detail
Find Menu 13 Mirror Setting.

Switch disable to enable.


2.Reset
Then go back and select
Menu activation>>Reset


3.Test
On vehicle, turn on function.

Test function, different back views.
