Autel IM608 2008 Grand Cherokee PCM Swap and IMMO Setup Guide

Here we have a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It sometimes won't start and has a secure light on dashboard when we turn ignition on. After scanning , the PCM module won't communicate.
So, in this article, we are going to show you how to fit new PCM in car after PCM swap using Autel IM608 Tablet.
Old PCM:


1.Read PIN
Go to
IMMO>>Jeep>>Manual selection>>North america>>Grand Cherokee>>2008-2010>>Fobik Key SLOT>>
Turn on ignition.

Select
Control Unit>>Read Immobilizer Password(CAN)
Read PIN code.


2.Copy VIN & Tansfer Key Info
Select
IMMO module replacement>>Powertrain control module (PCM) replaced

IMMO setup notes.

Enter PIN.

Here VIN is correct, simple copy VIN from ignition to new PCM.


Key info automatically transferred to PCM.
