All 2018 FCA (FIAT/CHRYSLER/ALAFA ROMEO) vehicles are equipped with SGW safety gateway modules to prevent access to the vehicle from the OBD2 port via a non-original diagnostic scanner.The purpose of the module is to prevent attacks on the vehicle network via CAN bus. Work with OBDStar X300DP Plus/X300 Pro4.

Step 1: Locate and unplug the 12 PIN& 8 PIN connectors of the SGW module

Step 2: Connect the FCA 12+8 directly to the 12PIN and 8 PIN connector on the car (two connectors connected to the SGW)

Step 3: Achieve normal communication with the car
