Part 1. How to Install Fetrotech Software?
*Please install software on Windows Pro System, WIN10 PRO 64bit is recommended
Step 1. Installation
First, connect Fetrotech tool to PC and supply power to it.

Go to tuner-box.com.
Select
Download>>Fetrotech Tool

Enter Email and phone number to download software package.
Run "FetrotecToolSetup.msi".

Install driver.

Enter info to complete installation.


Step 2. Activation
Run "Fetrotech Tool".

Send the activation code and the serial number behind the device to us.

Then you will get two file: "Fetrotech Tool ok3.5" and "Fetrotech tool".


Step 3. Setting
Put two files on different folders:
"Fetrotech tool" on Disk C.
Open "Fetrotech Tool" location, put "Fetrotech Tool ok3.5" here.


Open " Fetrotech Tool ok3.5", and it will prompt how to open.
Select
Local Disk (C:)>>Program Files (x86)>>Fetrotech>>Fetrotech Tool

Done!


Part 2. Errors & Fixes
Q1. Fail to run "FetrotecToolSetup.msi" on WIN10, program says "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run"

Solution:
*WIN10 PRO 64bit System is Recommended
1)Go to Task Manager >> File >> Run A New Task


2)Click “Browse” option to enter, find the “FetrotecToolSetup.msi” installation package, and then open.


3)Click “OK” to start the installation of Fetrotech tool software.



Q2. Taskbar Crash
Reason:
Windows System Compatibility Problem

Solution 1: Restart Windows Explorer
Run Software as admin, with all antivirus programs and windows defender disabled.

Then it won't response and the task bar crashes as described on the top.
Open task manager via "CTRL+ALT+DEL", look for "windows explorer" on the list.


Restart it. (if there are more than one, end these tasks, leave the last one, and restart it)
The task bar will come back.
Run Fetrotech as admin again.
Fetrotech should response. If not, repeat above steps.

Notices:
1.Download the license files directly to the folder AND NOT COPY. If fetrotech does not open, the taskbar disappears then uninstall everything via the control panel and start over with newly downloaded files. The license files remain the same.
IMPORTANT: Disable all windows defender and real protection and give your account full administrator rights to modernize files in the system partition

2.If not working, you need run the installer again via the task manager and run the uninstall. Make sure windows defender and smart screen are Completely Disabled. Now re-install via the task manager run menu. After installation, Download the License key Directly to the Fetrotech folder in program files x86 directory. Then download the Tool file directly to C: – on each file check properties and make sure file not blocked. Navigate to your License key file and right click OPEN WITH… and select the Fetrotech app…if task bar disappear do as above.

Solution 2: Reinstall System
Reboot PC, the taskbar will automatically recover.
If problem still remains, try to install WIN10/ 11 PRO 64bit system and follow steps below.
1)Re-install WIN10/ 11 PRO 64bit system (System ISO and Backup&Restore Tool Download Link on the top)
2)Delete old software "Fetrotech tool" "Fetrotech Tool ok3.5" "Fetrotech Tool ok3.62.v"


3)Send activation code and S/N to get two new files again

4)Put them under the same location
5)Replace two file "AmtTools.dll" and "Fetrotech Tool.dll" under "C:\Windows\SysWOW64"
(Replaced File Download Link on the top, plz skip this step for WIN11 System)

6)Change open method to run software

Q3. Software crashes suddenly
Solution:
Uninstall all software, and install again by the guide.
