Cranking System Test

BST 360 battery tester detects the actual engine cranking current, voltage, and time. The data of the engine starting can visually reflect the status of the battery. The cranking system test will analyze the data to estimate if the battery has enough power to start the vehicle engine. Before testing the cranking system, you should turn off the vehicle engine and all electrical components like air conditioning, lights, radio, etc.

Charging System Test

The battery diagnostic tool can test different parts of the charging system including generator, rectifier, rectifier diode for receiving a reliable charging volt value. You can view the real-time floating voltage, load voltage, charging current and analyze the continuous output performance of the generator.

How to Manage the Charging System Test?

1) Enter BST 360 App and Click “Charging System Test”
2) Ignite the Vehicle Engine to Charge
(Until the charging voltage and ripple are normal.)
3) Press Pedal and Speed to 2500 rpm for 5 Seconds
4) Get Testing Result
